Increasing and Decreasing Limits

To protect players, the rules for changing limits are asymmetric by design:

  • Decreasing a limit (making it more restrictive) takes effect immediately — the lower limit applies from the moment you confirm the change.
  • Increasing a limit (making it less restrictive) is subject to a mandatory cooling-off period of 7 days before the higher limit becomes active. This gives you time to reconsider the decision with a clear head.
  • Removing a limit entirely follows the same 7-day cooling-off rule as an increase.

5. Self-Exclusion Programme
